Big Dumb Heart - Jenna Raine
For the band project, I worked on combining illustration and design to capture the spirit of uplifting music. I chose Jenna Raine for the album because her upbeat music brings a sense of joy and positivity that aligns perfectly with the vision I want this project to convey.
Her music inspired me to incorporate a die-cut effect, layering floral illustrations to create depth and represent growth. This layered design mirrors the vibrant energy and organic feel of Jenna's sound, with florals carrying the background as a visual symbol of blossoming and new beginnings.
The project involves designing an album cover, a t-shirt, and a illustrated poster for her single "Roses," each piece capturing a unique aspect of Jenna's music. The album cover introduces the layered floral concept, the t-shirt translates it into wearable art, and the poster brings together all the elements for a unified illustration look. Together, these visuals are crafted to echo the warmth, inspiration, and joy Jenna’s music brings to her listeners, making the artwork a natural extension of her musical style.
